We are building resources for our members, and this is going to be a great one. Here's a two-tune preview for members and those who might soon become members.

Ray Mathes, guitarist and fiddler, has been recording our jam sessions and creating packages for each tune that include:

1. NOTATION
2. CHORDS
3. LYRICS (when available)
4. MP3
5. MIDI

These first two above are available to all visitors and come from our slow jam of January 18 at Two Rivers Mansion, where we hold slow jams the first and third Thursday of each month. This session was led by Martin Fisher as part of a new program launched by NOTSBA President Jim Hornsby to have advanced players serve as guides at the each third Thursday jam.

These are old-time. They aren't the contest style or bluegrass versions you might have come across. Old-time is what we do in NOTSBA.
