“In
The Woods” played the Woodbine dance on March 12. An interesting
feature of this dance was that a large troupe of young Danish
Gymnasts was visiting and danced with great enthusiasm, which
spurred the band to play with even more gusto.
There were more dancers at this dance than at
any dance they have played.
During
the break the Danes danced a special dance written for their troupe
involving Danish folk dance, which included back flips and girls
being spun off the ground. It was pretty amazing.
